Ford November Sales Up 6.7%, Lincoln Down 5.5%

https://media.ford.com/content/dam/f...-sales-rls.pdf

Disappointing to see Lincoln down overall, but most of the loss is from sedans, which are all down for the month.

It'll be nice to have all new MKZ/MKC replacements soon. And hopefully the C refresh and Nautilus changeover will help too. I know we're a ways off from it happening, but I wonder if they will combine MKX and Nautilus numbers or if they'll report them separately?

Navigator sales starting to bump up with the new model starting to arrive at dealers.

I think we knew Continental wasn't going to be able to match last years monthly numbers but seeing the Z down that much is painful.

The good thing is that this month is December, which should mean basically everything will be up.

Might be hard to beat last year Lincoln was up 18 percent in December on total sales of 12,791

Hurray!!!
My prediction for 100K came true already. I think we can put to rest the many deathwatch claims.

Too bad more Navigators were not on lots, that would really help with what is sure to be a double digit increase again.

I know it was a big month, but December always is, so we can hope! Losing MKS' volume (however little it was) won't help but I have faith that bumps from MKC, MKX, and especially Navigator can help overcome it. I think if anything, the numbers will be close to the numbers from last year.

notice that Lincoln CARS for Ytd are flat?
given that ^ VS the fall-off, suggest to me that it's more than the U.S market causing this...
& obviously the first 'part' of the year *was* INcreasing...
...like maybe the CHINA Market? ie FLincmoco sending more their way since their still increasing
@Andrew L &or @rmc523 , would either of you have time/energy to graph [LincolnCars] for the last 2 years?

As Americans are moving to CUV's typical "sedans" are down or flat across the industry. This is not isolated to only Lincoln. Look at the Toyota Camry - it has been replaced as Toyota's #1 seller with the RAV4.

I hope they have enough *new* Navigators on the lots to help with the December numbers.

Oh believe me I know sedan sales are in the toilet but it seemed for a while anyway that luxury sedans were not too affected by it. Down a little but not by a lot. Looks like it's starting to catch up with them now too.
