BMW and Mercedes export more American build cars to China. But Ford is the most active exporter to China from the Big 3. Ford currently offers Explorer, Mustang, MKC, MKZ, and MKX in China as regular sales models. MKX is imported from Canada but the rest come from US plants. Ford also offers F150 Raptor and Navigator on special order. Part of the reason is the fact that Ford doesn't have as much production capacity in China as GM for example... it doesn't have the capacity to offer a full line of a second brand of locally assembled vehicles since it had to give away roughly 40% of the capacity to Mazda during the divorce. Prior to the Mazda divorce, the Mazda brand was effectively controlled by Ford in China and so it was Ford's second brand there (e.g. think Hyundai/Kia, Chevy/Buick, SAIC VW/FAW VW, GAIC Honda/Dongfeng Honda, Pegueot/Citroen etc, and Ford/Mazda). So that set Ford back at least 5 years in terms of where it would have been in China.
GM offers Camaro, Colorado, Silverado, and Escalade as special order models in China. There are no regular sales GM model from the US or Canada, mainly because it has the capacity to carry 5 full line of locally assembled vehicles: Wuling, Baojun, Chevy, Buick, and Cadillac.
