that looks really good, Sport!
think I'd actually be a lot happier if the new Milan face had been on a new Merc
& they stayed a bit closer to the first gen's face for the 2010my
I miss what I call the "pontoon" lines/edges following the grille/headlite division down into the bumper/fascia
and I still think Merc needs a different name for their just-smaller-than Milan car & keep Comet for the next-smaller one
Yours would be at least Focus-sized, no?
not (near) Fiesta-sized?
&
what was the back 3/4's of the original? the Cruise?
&
Any chance you'd have time to try basing a small Merc on this?
that's gorgeous! so classy and modern looking-expensive but contemporary which is exactly what Mercury should be.
and the greenhouse seems to be the Chevy Cruze, right?
beautifully done!
and what's the font? i LOVE the 'E.' is it a cut of Futura or Avant Garde?
i also like the Meteor name on the lower door. that is an old Mercury nameplate from the '62-'62 era. i believe there were Meteor 600s and 800s. It might have been a canadian mercury nameplate too, not sure.
And would Meteor be a model designation or an alternate name you put on the car door but changed it to Comet?
