WHO decides what "AutoGuide" posts?
is it automated?

I've seen some eye-catching CURRENT non-FoMoCo stuff from them on facebook
( GM, FCA, Imports, etc. )
that imho
would have been worthwhile threads here (for more non-Ford News)
that I didn't have time to make
YET
that Trabant thread today strikes me as Why Bother?...

note/imho: the "worthwhile threads" would HAVE to be specific Brand Discussion sections, not ALL in [Suggest A News Article]
We have a writing team that often uses that account to make posts. They use it to post news, articles, etc.

Re: New Smilies

I didn't remove anything, I promise

You can always get software 'free' on the internet. >_>
I'm not encouraging anything.

THANKS for adding the Mercury gif, Lee
tho I *trust* you didn't have to delete an existing smilie CUZ truthfully only Thomas and I will prolley use that
What would be used a LOT more is a Lincoln Star gif ... but I don't have a good candidate for that
(& prolley a BlueOval)**

as for 'makeagif.com', it looks like it's only for animated gifs...
so might try that later;
**what I personally want is to be able to make tiny (16x16) PNGs for those Post-Icons

edit
trying an experiment with Win7's snipping-tool
to see if I can convert the tiny-version of the Merc gif as it appears in the List on the Right of my screen
into a PNG for a Post-Icon...

now trying to crop it reallll tight with screen-zoom shrunk

hmm
don't think the transparent background survived...

I've wondered if we could change/swap some "post icons" for new ones?

I'd like
- a Blue Oval
- a Lincoln logo
- a dollar sign (maybe WITH a Euro sign? $)
- a clock
- "eww"
- maybe a star (5 point / gold?)
&or
- maybe something to denote a video? (little TV icon? or the [TUBE] part of the youtube icon?)

imho the sunglasses/cool face is the only emoticon-type face we need
(maybe the mad/red-face, tho never seen it used)
& don't think the 1st one "text" (blue page) is very useful either

btw
the lightbulb, thumbs, & faces look kind of blurry or washed-out on every computer (Windows) I use...
...maybe because the .PNG's don't auto-size correctly for me??
Oh, I definitely think we need a Mercury logo. 2b2.
