The Cavalier is approaching the same age as the recently revealed Escort, which just got a refresh. I wonder what updates Chevrolet has for the Chinese Cavalier?

...Ford, "Louisville, which has recently been cranking out about 1,100 Ford Escape SUVs every day..."
..."Tesla is...paying a lot of people to be so inefficient:...
Using about 10,000 workers in the last week of March, Tesla cranked out 2,020 Model 3s at its Fremont, Calif., plant. That’s 289 vehicles per day, or 35 employees for every Model 3 coming off the line...
...Nissan, Tenn... about 5 workers per vehicle.
...Honda, Ont... roughly 3.5 people per car..."

well, talking about Conti outside the FL thread...
MARCH is just like a 1st-Qtr report so
I don't see how saying Lincoln is DOWN -17% (Ytd/now) is any better by holding the suspense since New Years
= = so
I'm more agreeing with:

Must have been a heck of a month for Encore discounts; almost 7K more than last March.

In the future GM is going to hide these monthly gains, "too much noise" (their words, not mine)

Media.GM.com/sales report, as in post#1
...Transition to Quarterly Sales Reporting
GM announced today it will begin reporting its U.S. vehicle sales on a quarterly basis, effective immediately. For 2018, second quarter sales will be released on July 3, third quarter sales on October 2 and fourth quarter sales on January 3, 2019.

“Thirty days is not enough time to separate real sales trends from short-term fluctuations in a very dynamic, highly competitive market,” said Kurt McNeil, U.S. vice president, Sales Operations. “Reporting sales quarterly better aligns with our business, and the quality of information will make it easier to see how the business is performing.”

In the auto industry, monthly sales are subject to many issues that make them more volatile than quarterly sales, including product launch activity, weather, other seasonal factors, the number of selling days and incentive activity.
