THE FORD MUSTANG EVOLUTION TO GROW EVEN MORE POWERFUL
FORD TO REVEAL NEW POWER-TRAINS FOR 2011 MUSTANG AT LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW

Los Angeles is going to be a very busy show for the Ford Motor Company. Ford is already launching the new US Fiesta in LA. But now, we can confirm that LA is where Ford will reveal the new power trains that will update the 2011 Ford Mustang and return it a full-on Camaro killer!

According to reports now hitting Autoblog.com, during a meeting with Derrick Kuzak on FoxNews.com's Fox Car Report, Mr. Kuzak stated that all their Mustang questions would be answered in LA this December.

For the more juicy details, read the following quote from Alex Nunez in his Autoblog posting.

Earlier published reports have indicated that a new, more powerful, 300+ horsepower base V6 is in the offing, along with the widely-expected 400-horsepower 5.0-liter V8.

The other juicy rumor floating around that we want to see come true is that of an aluminum-block version of the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 for the 2011 Shelby GT500. To that end, we simply asked Kuzak, "How about an aluminum-block GT500?" He just smiled and replied, "That's a good thought." We'll cross our fingers while we wait and see.

So, aside from the worst kept secret, the 5.0 Liter V8, the rest sounds incredibly intriguing. It is also possible there may be some new color options, a few new package options, and possibly, even more special editions.

So, can December come soon enough? **** No!
