2017 Chrysler Minivan. EV! - VinceBurlappcar.com
Friday, June 05, 2015

Yes. This one says EV on it.

So it looks like Chrysler will offer a plug-in hybrid version of their upcoming Minivan.
Or maybe a pure EV?
Either way, they could be the only one to do so. I haven't heard of anything like that coming from anyone else. (A plug-in Minivan)...

This will be a great new technology for the minivan segment and could be a game changer for Chrysler who is always the first to innovate in the minivan segment...
...the only real world way that automakers are going to be able to achieve tighter cafe targets.

Maybe a battery pack under the minivan floor can insulate some life to that dying market segment

Everything I have read said it will be PHEV. It will use a hybrid combo of the Gen 2 Pentastar V6 (variable intake, GDI) with the 9-speed and an electric motor likely sandwiched between.

anyone know how many Plug-Ins (or ordinary hybrids) do NOT use some kind of CVT?

(with the understanding/assumption that an eCVT is Not the same as non-e)

or whatever-the-heck the Voltec really is
Hyundia and Kia both use the regular auto
