Audi A7 Sportback (2019): slightly shorter than old model, MLB Evo architecture, production at Neckarsulm will commence in late February
BMW X2 (2018) F39: A rival for the Range Rover Evoque, will be built in Regensburg but should also be made in Brazil and China
GAC concept: no details as yet, will follow the EnSpirit design study from the 2017 NAIAS
Hyundai Veloster (2019): unlike almost all rivals, Hyundai believes there is still a worthwhile amount of potential sales volume in this segment
Infiniti EV: few official details as yet but it won't be related to the Leaf; instead, a larger model on a different architecture
Kia Forte (2019): to be again known as the Cerato in some countries, will be twinned with the replacement for the cee'd series which becomes the Ceed
Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept: created by the CALTY design studio in Southern California, a "flagship crossover", other details are yet to be announced
Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 Hybrid (2019): powered by the new M256 in-line 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine and a 50kW motor, CLS 63 will also be added to the range
Ram 1500 (2019): new steel frame, production due to commence in January at Sterling Heights, outgoing remains in production at Warren Truck and Saltillo
Volkswagen Jetta (2019): seventh generation model, Puebla is due to commence building it in December and US market sales should commence during Q1
Toyota Avalon (2019): 370B project code, GA-K architecture, production will start at Georgetown 1 in February, was developed at the TTC in Michigan
