Audi's E-Tron also arriving shortly...

that looks a LOT like a Macan to me ... is it a sibling?

...This might be what is motivating Ford to tease a MACH 1 SUV, we will see most carmakers producing something along these lines. Ford is very influenced by what VW/Audi do in particular. But I wonder if Mach 1 is just an NG Explorer with the 3.0T Hybrid power plant we know Aviator is getting (and so is Mustang and F-150 presumably). Ford's commitment to BEV products just started with Team Edison and all of those products are very distant at this point. I suspect Ford will be among the last carmakers to have a significant BEV presence with a clear focus on Gas Electrics...
Mach 1 = e-ish Mustang or we burn down Dearborn
Mach b or 2 or
can be whatever ...2 diff ones, right? = 3 total?
I hope one is small-ish utilit-ish Tardis-h

seeing more (Peugeot 508)...
btw, it's only 4750mm/187" overall length - 2790mm/109.8" wheelbase
Fundeo = 4871mm/191.8" overall length – 2850mm/112.2" wheelbase
So it's on the shorter end of mid-size.
yeahTHO ^
imho it's getting real hard to use that midsize label
ex: does wheelbase mean more than overall length?

This is a Geneva Auto Show debut, another predator Lexus, another ugly designed and ugly styled expensive crossover aimed at rich young customers who only care about the brand. Of course, this atrocity will sell very well...

Surprises from Audi at Geneva Auto Show? If you want to call it "surprise" a sedan wich is equal to the A8, but slighty smaller...

Even the Audi designers cant tell you easily wich is the A8 or the A6...

Nothing wrong with originality, I certainly wish Lincoln had some of that.

Talking about originality...

Not always "original" is good...
Nah, that's just shoddy careless haphazard design, big difference.

But I'm not really here to defend Lexus, only that I think it's done with a great deal of care and thought. It's not my personal style but I certainly admire it in the real world of mundane automotive design of which Lincoln is a big offender.

Another design offender is the MKT which I would argue is the 2nd worst vehicle design in history, yet it's pretty boring too.
he he he --- Put a big Lexus "L" at the front of that Pontiac, and the millenials will buy it like hot pancakes... only for the badge.

This might be representative of what Ford's first BEV will be like. The Kona is a Sub-Compact Crossover in the same category as the Ford EcoSport with multiple drivetrain options from Gas to All-Electric which sounds like Ford's type of strategy. Chevy has a dedicated EV-only platform for it's growing range of All-Electrics but the Bolt has low mass market appeal and it's expensive. I'm curious to see where Ford will eventually land but the advantage to taking a backseat is that you get to watch how the market settles before you make investments. Ford's other giant hurdle is nailing down the compact crossover market which is big part of Ford's foundation issues in Europe and Asia and obviously key to electric SUVs.
