BREAKING RUMOR
local TV news just said the new Tesla III will be shown (ie a foto?) TODAY...instead of Thursday

- this IS Tesla-country - gigafactory-adjacent
- this is LOCAL tvnews - who can barely keep their microphones working half the time
I think Tesla figured out that offering an image before the reservations are to start is a good idea, and can help boost initial reservation numbers. Which looks good for Tesla. Right now they are asking consumers to put a deposit down on a vehicle they have not seen or know any details about.

It will also help minimize many of the cancelled reservations if the consumer does not like what they see or hear about the Model 3.

Show the vehicle today, open reservations on April 2st.

But as always with the rumors....let's see what actually happens.

Elon Musk’s affordable Tesla specs leaked:
New $35,000 Model 3 will go from 0-60 in under 4 seconds and have 300 mile range
DailyMail.co.UK

By Ellie Zolfagharifard - 30 March 2016

• Source also said it will be a smaller hybrid of the Model X and S
• Will be 20%** shorter than the S, placing it in same segment as Audi A4
• The first Model 3s are to be delivered by 2017 in US, and 2018 in Europe
• The car will be unveiled tomorrow at 11.30pm ET Hawthorne, California

** INCORRECT
I thought the reveal was originally supposed to be the 30th or 31st of March?

Is it just coincidence the launch is now on April Fool's Day? :p
