Other brands totally do it, the difference here is that wings told us the interior was BRAND new and totally different than the Escape - since the baby Bronco will be sold for a premium....

And I said - and now confirmed - that I had seen the interior and it wasn’t that much different at all...
It looks like the entire dash minus the steering well and lower center console will be different. Hardly the same thing as you implied.

Here is what you said on page 50 of this thread that literally started the whole interior discussion,

"Boy you are in for a not so good surprise then lol...beyond textures and small graphs, the interior the basically the same."

And I never said "BRAND new and totally different than Escape" and I never talked about premium price either.

Do you also still believe Bronco will be here in 2022, as you mentioned also in this thread? yet it will be here in 10 months.

How is it possible that you are quite literally wrong on every assumption, prediction and accusation you throw around here? The odds are nearly impossible for 100% failure, yet there you are.

Congrats.

let me refresh your memory old fart...

you said:
we will see the Bronco in 4 months (in September)....WHERE IS IT? LOL
The interior is not the same, don't believe the BS...WELL the interior is about the same lol, not 'brand new' as you predicted back in January...

refresher of what I said:
Your timeline is correct, they will show it in June but deliveries are only happening in 2021....which is about 1y delay unfortunately, we were all hoping for deliveries to start in early 2020.

Can’t happen unfortunately...the new Bronco is a year or more away, there have been several delays and changes to the project, so launch in mid-late 2020 is still possible but 50/50 at this point...worst case it will show up in 2021, with sales starting wither summer or fall 2021.

and

The Scout on the other hand is nearly ready, since it’s basically a Ford Escape with raised suspension and different sheet metal, even the interior is about the same.

Ford better have a hit with the 2 bronco models. Their new Explorer and Escape do not seem to be moving off the dealership lots.

That would have been a Huuuuuuge mistake.

First of all, it looks absolutely nothing like a Bronoco, ever in history, so you would piss off so many.
It is too small.
It is hideous. Should have just called the troller, troll instead. It is that ugly.
And since Bronco and Ranger will both include hybrids, you would not have that option. Not without significant modifications, which would defeat the idea of just bringing over the troll.

Bronco will be huge. That much is certain.
And I predict massive success for the Maverick as well.

And Jeep will be nervous as heck.

So far you’ve been dead wrong in all of your predictions...

Here’s mine: the Bronco will fail, Ford will price it too high, deliver poor interior quality and instead of gaining market share, sales of the Explorer and Escape will split between the Broncos - the new Escape is not very SUV, returning customers are leaving in droves for the RAV4.

Leadership needs to change direction immediately...if I were to be in that hot seat I would make the tough calls

1-(maybe?) delay the Mach-E and deploy the engineers to do a full emergency interior redo in the Explorer and Escape. Ford depends on the success of them to stay alive, so they have to be above their competitors in quality...

2- rethink the price strategy deployed for both Explorer and Escape

3- Focus on how to bring back the Focus and maintain the Fusion as a sedan but follow the Subaru Legacy model by creating a Fusion and Fusion CUV.

4- ask for a full review of the new F150 program, I bet they are making the same poor choices in the interiors again

And ****ing get out of my seat and hit the factories - why delivery of the Explorer failed so much? Why warranty costs have gone crazy since 2018?

Let's wait and see, Ford will most likely price it competitively against the Wrangler and 4Runner. These off-roaders usually seem overpriced for many but not so much for those into off-roading.

The returning Bronco probably won't outsell the Wrangler (which had continuous production) but it will definitely find many buyers.

-Motor1

The New Bronco will most likely offer better interior packaging/space/practicality than the equivalent Wrangler which is limited by its traditional shape.

Saw an article today, said Google claims Bronco is the most searched car name in the world.

I guess people are very excited.
Most searched car in the United States, not the world.

https://www.carscoops.com/2020/02/2021-ford-bronco-is-the-most-anticipated-vehicle-in-america/

I think some people were disappointed when they found out the new Bronco will just be for North America and the Middle East. I think this bit of info also moved it from headline material to "other news" in automotive publications in other markets because it's not exactly that relevant. The same way news about full-size pickups and full-size SUVs like the Suburban aren't "big news" material in other parts of the world.

I'm still curious about its specs and how it will look like but it's a shame Jeep will be able to take advantage of the Bronco's absence in many of its global markets.

Ford will also be missing out on the void the Classic Defender left in Europe when it was replaced by the much more expensive sophisticated premium all-new model.

Still hoping Ford will at least export it to other left-hand drive markets and right-hand drive markets that allow left-hand drive vehicles. If you recall Ford Australia President & CEO, Kay Hart said "There's nothing to announce. There are currently no plans in place for right-hand drive Bronco".

Thanks for the correction.
And Bronco will surely stay for a while, so who knows what market it eventually lands in. Jeep has had decades long head start. Nobody is expecting Bronco to sell more, and it does not have to, just to be considered a success. It will surely take sales away from Jeep, especially combined with the Maverick, and be a completely unique offering in the Ford stable. Most importantly, high margin sales. Ford can't lose.

https://www.carscoops.com/2020/02/new-ford-bronco-debuting-in-march-followed-by-smaller-bronco-sport-in-april/

“Ford is going to reveal the new Bronco next month, followed by its smaller SUV sibling that will be called the Bronco Sport – previously referred to as ‘baby Bronco’- in April, most likely at the New York Auto Show.

The smaller Bronco Sport will be the first to reach the market as it’ll go on sale late this year, with the ‘normal’ Bronco not becoming available until early 2021. Ford is also going to offer “hundreds of Bronco accessories”, which will be available at launch, in a bid to help the company boost its profitability.“

Ford is really killing sales of the new Bronco since people only waited for a new model for a limited time! Hyping it every few months does not help when it still way off. 2021 is way to long since it was 1st announced 2017 time frame. 4 years to release is to long!
