This interior is completly different from the Escape. Is a "truck" interior, with squared "modules" for the screens and airvents. There are some color there, too, like in the small crossovers from Europe (Renault Captur, Citroen C3 Aircross...) . True, the situation in the US is bad now, I don't think people are eager to spend on a vehicle anytime soon.They are smart enough to know, that you don't promote a fun lifestyle vehicle during a pandemic, where 1 million US citizens have it, and are dying in huge numbers.
Delying it several months was the right thing to do.
