Aljomaih Automotive Company has brought the all-new Cadillac SLS to Saudi Arabia.
The new vehicle will be available on order as of beginning of March at the General Motors’ dealer for premium brands in the kingdom, the company said in a statement.
The SLS was revealed during a launch event for 2008 models of Cadillac and Saab vehicles, which was held at their Premium Brands’ showroom located on King’s Road in Jeddah, it added.
The Cadillac SLS is the latest addition, and the third variant, in the successful STS range, joining the STS itself and the high-performance STS-V. It is based on the STS, but features additional design and engineering work.
"With the arrival of the SLS, the STS family will become a strong, three-member line-up. The STS and the STS-V have already established themselves as two successful cars, and the SLS is set to build on their success", said General Motors Middle East sales director John Moran.
“Middle East customers demand excellence in luxury cars and place a premium on quality and performance, the dominant attributes of the SLS, so we pounced on the opportunity to satisfy this demand for long wheelbase luxury sedans”, said Moran.
The new model boasts an array of standard equipment that that many competitors only offer as optional extras, the company said.
The SLS excels in interior design, fittings, and finishes, delivering an outstanding experience from any seat. The tone is set by luxurious ambient lighting that bathes the cabin in tranquil and elegant ‘Cadillac White,’ an automotive innovation modelled on first-class air travel.
“The SLS is an important step to grow Cadillac’s presence in a competitive luxury market and its introduction to the Middle East will strengthen the brand’s already powerful position in the region,” said Moran

"...all new.."?

"...successful.."?
Do you really Expect GM to say we are bringing you an old failure from China? :D ,
In the middle east its really impolite to toperdo someones effort publicily, you do that over dinner in your tent, and even then, you just express reservations, without being too critical and outright about the other person.
