Ford’s October China Sales Rise Seven Percent
Detroit News

Ford Motor Co. on Friday reported its October sales in China rose seven percent compared to the same month a year ago.

The Dearborn automaker sold 95,185 vehicles in the world’s largest auto market last month, as year-to-date sales remained flat at about 884,073.

Ford’s passenger car joint venture, Changan Ford Automobile, sold 74,820 vehicles last month, up 15 percent.

Ford’s sales in China last month were driven by its SUVs and new vehicles. Sales of its Ecosport, Edge and Explorer were up 15 percent compared to October 2014.

Sales of the Ford Kuga rose 9 percent, while sales of the Mondeo rose six percent.

Jiangling Motors Corporation, Ford’s commercial vehicle investment, sold 19,070 vehicles in October, down 11 percent compared to 2014.

Lincoln Lincoln Lincoln Lincoln?!?
Not gonna see those results until at best end of 2016. Lincoln has to have time to get more dealerships open and more models launched. 2016 MKX has launched, but Navigator still has not laughed in China yet, which is supposed to happen before end of 2015. I also think it will be the Continental that will bring more Chinese consumers into Lincoln dealerships and boost sales overall.

Can't wait to see the Lincoln Continental Presidential Series. Making Chinese consumers think twice about spending double on an S-Class.
