Ford 2013 Annual Report - Lincoln
Ford

The first full year of the reinvention of The Lincoln Motor Company saw repeated record sales of its flagship midsize sedan, the Lincoln MKZ. Introduced for the 2013 model year, the MKZ became Lincoln's top-selling vehicle in early 2013, attracting drivers with powertrain options that include a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine, a 3.7-liter six-cylinder, and a hybrid offering. Helping it stand out from hybrid competitors, the MKZ is the only luxury hybrid vehicle on the market available for the same price as the gas-powered version.

The Lincoln promise to build four all-new vehicles by 2016 continued with the reveal of the Lincoln MKC, the newest entry in the small premium utility segment due to reach showrooms during the summer of 2014. The MKC advances the Lincoln design direction established on MKZ, and will give Lincoln entry in the fastest-growing luxury vehicle segment.

As further proof of the automaker's intentions to put emphasis on personal service, Lincoln introduced its its ultra-premium limited-edition Black Label program at the Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance. Featuring four luxurious design themes that provide Lincoln customers with a heightened level of design, style, materials, craftsmanship and personal service, Black Label is expected to begin appearing on Lincoln vehicles during the fourth quarter of 2014.
