It didn't help the St. Louis plant a couple years ago when they closed it and tore it down. The plant had just received an award for building quality cars. So much for working your butt for helping the company and then get thrown out into the streets. Same goes for the 2 Chrysler plants here also. They spend money on retooling the plants and then that quick, shut them down to be sold. Missouri was second to Mich. Now Missouri has tanked. So much for keeping jobs in the U.S. and helping the economy.

government is almost always the worst culprit in forcing workers and enterprise to shut. Some Utopian policies will always end in disaster. Michigan and the rust belt has been victim of a power cabal that revolves around government/union and enterprise boardrooms.

Workers end up suffering.
