Ford | Aug-07-2015 4:35 AM ET

SHANGHAI, China — Ford China sold 77,100 vehicles in July, a six percent decrease compared to July 2014. Year-to-date sales continue to be steady and surpassed the 600,000 mark in July, with 620,588 vehicles sold.

CAF sold 57,748 vehicles in July, a four percent decrease compared to July 2014. Year-to-date sales for Changan Ford Automobile (CAF), Ford’s passenger car joint venture, reached 452,726 vehicles, steady compared to the same time last year.

Sales for the Ford Focus nameplate surpassed the 150,000 mark, with 154,195 vehicles sold from January to July this year. Starting in August, customers in China will see the all new Ford Focus in showrooms across the country. Unveiled for the first time in China at Auto China Shanghai in April, the eagerly anticipated new vehicle hit the showrooms on July 30.

In July Ford’s commercial vehicle partner Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) sold 17,109 vehicles, a 12 percent decrease compared to July 2014. Year-to-date JMC sales crossed the 150,000 mark with 150,763 vehicles sold, a one percent increase from the same time last year.

CAF: 57,748
JMC: 17,109
Sub total: 74,857

74,857 - Ford total sales of 77,100 = 2,243 uncounted for July sales. These could be sales of Lincoln vehicles imported to China. With MKC carrying about 70% Lincoln sales(1,570), which leaves about 673 MKZ sales.

The Lincoln Dealer network is to small to have this many sales yet, in a few years yes but not yet. I would think Lincoln is around 200 - 300 sales a month right now but that is a clueless guess.

Troller is Brazilian and Ii would guess would be part of Fords South American sales numbers. These sales numbers are from China only markets.

That may include Mustang or other US imports from Ford, not just Lincoln.
but
that would mean ALL imported FoMoCo vehicles only add up to 2,243 for July, right?
so
which/how many models do they import?
(may as well request the number of FoMoCo dealers too)
((ie 2k&change seems awfully LOW...
...HOW many imported vehicles were sold in 2014?? iirc we saw that number somewhere))

I imagine that Lincoln will not release Lincoln-specific numbers until they are impressive enough to make news headlines. - Just my thought.
