First let me say that this is related to the Mission Mercury thread and is posted there as well. And while not exactly Foose quality by any means I am hoping that my posting this here will liven up the number of contributions in that thread.

I'd like to see this based on a new, inexpensive, compact rwd chassis utilizing a Mac strut IFS for superior steering feel, compact size, and low cost with a 'Control Blade' style multi-link IRS bringing up the rear again for cost effectiveness and superior function. The engine choices/model options which I would like to see (in an ideal world anyway) as laid out earlier in the Mission Mercury thread are....

Base
2.9L, DOHC/16-valve, 90-degree V4 producing ~ 245hp
6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic
16” wheels standard, 17” wheels optional

XR5
2.9L, DOHC/16-valve, TC/INT, 90-degree V4 producing ~300hp
6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic
17” wheels standard, 18” wheels optional

RS3200
3.2L, DOHC/16-valve, TC/INT, 90-degree V4 producing ~385hp
6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic
18” wheels

....Base price for the base model would ideally start somewhere around 18k with the XR5 following at about 24k and the top line RS model starting in the low thirties.

Ugghh! I can't get a decent copy of my sketch to post up. Every time I try to make it smaller it gets 'choppy'..........

........Okay, it still isn't great but it is much better.
