I'd like to have a reference of what Lincoln has actually had on sale (for this century so far) and could use some (a lot of) assistance...
...think it'd be helpful to have the age of the (platform/refresh) after each non-New model & month for Job1-or-1stSales on the new ones.
The bold years are calendar years, not modelyears - imho it's hard to not confuse them, corrections appreciated!!

LS was on sale from 99-2006 though in 99 it was sold as a 2000. It only had one platform and one refresh in 2003

Continental was on sale till 2002

Also the Blackwood sold from 2001-2002 but I think they were all 2002 models? not sure exactly.

^ THANKS, Andrew :thumb:
that explained why I remembered checking out the LS at a dealer long before Y2K

forgot to ask you if the LS refresh was calendar or modelyear
assumed calendar for now
For the 2003 LS both.

BTW 2b2 I noticed you added China are you including China ONLY? Because Lincoln has been sold in other countries. For example the LS was a test and sold in Europe and Japan. Here are some shots.

Japanese LS with RHD, Navigation/TV unit STOCK, Japanese spec wheels, amber turn signals for the rear which were NOT offered in the US version till the 2003 refresh, AND fender mounted turn signals.

And this LS from Latvia

Notice that it is a stick which means its a V6 and the different amber turn signals and the wide Euro plates.

The one in Latvia was probably sold alone through a Ford Dealer but I know Lincoln is official in Japan: http://www.ford.co.jp/lincoln-japan

well
that sorta snuck in from my 'draft' textfile
(where I'm also "prognosticating")
tho
it does seem to me that China is (going to be) the first *significant* Lincoln dealers/Brand presence outside Norte'Mer'ca,
do you agree when phrased that way?

& TY for the pix...
...now THOSE 9spoke wheels do NOT suit the LS imho - don't look rich enuf
(actually remind me of Mystique wheels iirc)

Well what about the Middle East?

and I agree 100% those wheels really do NOT fit the LS at all.

JUST Starting to try-out a more minor-refresh than update...
gonna hopefully make sure each model's (#/#) give the age of TheNameplate / theRendition
or maybe TheNameplate / theSeries / theRendition?
not sure with the possibly-soon extinction of platforms how to go about this .... think I'm getting (more) confused

Nice list...Navigator is the only nameplate on sale every year.

Do you have any info on which years Lincoln offered the long wheelbase Town Car?
