Lincoln Builds on its Strength in Pearl River Delta with Zhongshan Litian Linyue Lincoln Store
Lincoln

ZHONGSHAN, China — Lincoln recently announced its expansion into Zhongshan with Zhongshan Litian Linyue Lincoln Store, building on the brand’s foundation of strength across the Pearl River Delta.

Zhongshan stands as a key city for Lincoln, as the Pearl River Delta is now the world’s largest urban area, and a significant economic and industrial hub. With Lincoln Stores in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Lincoln is investing in the economic strength of this region and ensuring it can meet consumer demands for its diverse luxury offerings.

“We are proud to be able to bring the personalized experience of The Lincoln Way to Zhongshan,” said Robert Parker, president, Lincoln China. “The region is important to our growth in China and we are looking forward to showing them our diverse product line-up.”

The iconic American luxury brand has made steady progress and performed strongly in China since its entry into the country in 2014. In 2015, its first full year of sales, Lincoln delivered 11,630 vehicles, and in the first quarter of 2016, it sold 5,484 units. Lincoln is now on track to deliver 60 dealerships in 50 cities by the end of 2016.

Expanding Product Lineup Brings Quiet Luxury to Life

Complementing Lincoln’s dealership expansion plan is an expanding and competitive product portfolio. Lincoln is keeping its promise to bring five new vehicles to China by 2016 with the new full-size luxury sedan Lincoln Continental and fully upgraded midsize sedan Lincoln MKZ, unveiled at Auto China 2016.

The highly anticipated Continental will be available in dealerships across the nation by the end of 2016. It features a new, Lincoln-exclusive 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that guarantees a drive as safe and powerful as it is quiet. The design boasts the best in Lincoln’s innovations and craftsmanship, from luxurious interior amenities to the exterior front end, emboldened by Lincoln’s new, signature one-piece grille.

Available this summer is the fully upgraded 2017 MKZ. Available in the summer of 2016, the midsize premium sedan now possesses intuitive technology, effortless performance, and distinctive design in the same vein of Quiet Luxury as the Lincoln Continental.

“The Lincoln Continental and Lincoln MKZ bring an elegance and luxury that has never before been seen in the Zhongshan market,” said Mao Yishun, general manager, Zhongshan Litian Linyue Lincoln Store. “All Lincoln models will exceed customer expectations and provide a unique personalized experience.”

The Continental and the new MKZ will join the medium premium utility Lincoln MKC, the medium-large-sized premium utility Lincoln MKX and the full-size luxury SUV Lincoln Navigator to complete Lincoln’s lineup.

The Lincoln Way – Bringing luxury to the front door

Underpinning Lincoln’s development in China, from product development, to customer service, is The Lincoln Way, an innovative automotive purchase and ownership model. By doing away with traditional, transaction-focused models of service, The Lincoln Way believes in a one-size-fits-one approach.

Developed on deep insights from a wide range of high-end service industries, The Lincoln Way is an innovative take on satisfying a new generation of luxury vehicle consumers that require an intensely personal, connected experience with brands.

This overarching philosophy informs the design of Lincoln dealerships, where customers are welcomed as if they were guests in one’s own home. A team of Lincoln Institute-trained staff is assembled at each dealership to anticipate guests’ needs. Personalized test drive routes can be arranged at any dealership or online; full maintenance transparency is available in each Lincoln dealership with a live video feed; and service hours can be extended to fit clients’ busy schedules.

This intentioned method of service extends online with The Virtual Lincoln Way. With this initiative, customers can virtually tour dealerships, browse models and select a vehicle online to test-drive at a time and location that is most convenient for them. As The Virtual Lincoln Way continues to add functions, customers can manage everything in their auto purchase and ownership with the ultimate convenience in time and place.

:toetap: I'm still wondering if any U.S dealers are going to use the "pierced wall" design?
&or
if they're ALLOWED to??

(tho not sure that brownish color would work in some locations)

also
now wondering if the open-work Star-shadow 'screens' like at the autoshows is getting used INSIDE any U.S dealerships???

I can't see why they wouldn't be able to.....however, I think most Lincoln dealers here in the states are paired with Ford dealers, so you wouldn't see a large "Lincoln wall" on the front of a Ford dealer.

^ afaik there are strict clauses in the franchise agreement about appearance - there are a number of old threads here with pix of now-former remodeling dictates - a lot of white&black iirc

The Lincoln star was being installed today above the main entrance:
