41.6% - Chrysler 200
39.9% - Chevrolet Malibu
37.9% - Ford Fusion
33.0% - Nissan Altima
23.2% - Toyota Camry
20.4% - Volkswagen Passat
10.8% - Hyundai Sonata
-9.1% - Kia Optima
-2.6% - Honda Accord

They may not make much profit from these sales, but it keeps the lines running and the suppliers busy.

I was going to majorly disagree but
figured I don't have to since
Mr. Mulally disagrees:
Build what the customer will desire
+
build only as much as they desire​
edit/however
meant to add/to make this less black&white

when the new car is ALL-new and looks very diff
fleet'ing the end-of-run is more acceptable

So, you do not consider fleet buyers to be customers?
If I own a small company and purchase a few Fusions for my sales staff, should I not be considered a customer, even if I desired the Fusion over another car?

no
it's not simple or black&white
but
-- percentage
&
-- "dumping" large percentages ESP to rental fleet
&
yes, I know I shouldn't post when I'm not fully awake yet
