As we hinted in the past, this week BMW will unveil the latest and newest 3 Series Sedan. The F30 3 Series Sedan will make its world debut this Friday, October 14th in Munich and it is shaping up to be a glorious event for BMW, and rightfully so since the 3 Series is the bread and butter for the brand.

To celebrate its world unveiling, BMW plans to engage fans around the world and we applaud their initiative to broadcast by Livestream on Facebook.

We expect to see a 3 Series that follows the design lines of its bigger brother, the F10 5 Series. The F30 3 Series could be considered a scaled down 5 Series, but with unique lines that will make it distinctive within the BMW family.

The car also showcases corona rings with full LED treatment which are different from the current generation E90 due to a new design and a “squared” look.

For the first time on a 3 Series, the new F30 will feature signal indicators placed on the side mirrors, a design cue driven by recent European car safety regulations.

From the side, the new 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan is said to feature a double shoulder line that starts above the front wheel arch and extends to the rear. Despite the complicated and demanding pedestrian safety regulations, BMW managed to keep the car’s nose sitting low, offering a more dynamic look, somewhat similar to the 5 Series sedan.

As always, stay tuned on BMWBLOG for some exclusive information and photos!

I kind of like the front, but the back hasn't really changed at all

Nice subtle changes, but the bubble like greenhouse looks out of place on the low sleek body

At first glance the front end styling seemed odd, but now i'm starting to like it.

The back is now 5-series like, which I don't mind since I like the look of the new 5-series.

The front end is very, very ugly to my eyes. The rear end is a Bangle-style work, very nice, compared with the rest of the car. I cant believe that i like some bangle-style lines in a car, but compared with the front end, is a nice execution... The front is a mess.

imho the front isn't special/speshul enough to get a reaction from me - except for the silly headlite-to-grille extensions/reveals...which will look better after BMW copies Ford's soon-to-be skinny headlites
but
that rear

might be just the angle&lighting but it looks swollen/puffy, like-with-disease, to me

imho
the whole/hole Bungle fiasco has led back to minimal-meaningless changes year-after-year
BUT without the beauty that the BMWs (esp 3-series) USED TO HAVE
