As the moderator of a truck enthusiast forum, there are certain features or issues that seem to resonate with people, or get a lot of activity or chatter. The latest that's gotten a lot of attention is vertical rear sliders. The only current OE application is on the Toyota Tundra CrewMax. A lot of people are asking if there's a conversion kit out there for popular truck models. There are some one-off customs, but no out-of-the-box kits. When I was at the 2011 F-150 event, one of the marketing guys asked me what's the "next big thing" in custom trucks or "hot trend." I said there was a lot of interest in the vertical rear slider on the Tundra. They said based on their research, there wasn't overwhelming demand from their current customer base. But it seems once people have seen it, they think it's a really neat feature. I think the option would probably get a lot of takers, especially on the SuperCrew models.
