I really like number one from a heritage standpoint. I think the current logo is very modern and works quite well also. Either would be fine with me.
Agreed. I quite like the current iteration. It's smooth and fresh; it looks great.

Where's the greyhound!?!??!?!

But out of these probably 8. I like the points I kind of hate how they clipped them off with the current one.

I like the star logo but the updated tall & skinny design no longer fits with the new Lincoln grille and it probably presents a scaling challenge for designers. I actually don't like the new Lincoln logo, I think it was over designed to be softer and simpler but in the end it looks overthought and lacks the bold iconic simplicity of the original Lincoln star badges and the new one is just a vestigial remnant.

I'd love to add those two options but I'm not sure how. Also, I thought the greyhound was Ford, not Lincoln? Please explain! haha.

The greyhound was Lincoln they started using that in 1927 I believe. I think some Fords might have used a similar one but for the most part it was Lincoln.

They greyhound is by far my favorite and I wish there was some way they could bring it back in a high end trim or something. I remember going to a Lincoln dealer and the salesman had some award from Ford which featured the greyhound and the Lincoln Star on it.

Edit: Just looked it up Ford used a greyhound apparently only for 33 and 34 on V8 only models

Given the similarities of the new Lincoln grill to that of Jaguar it would be questionable to also bring back the greyhound which isn't that far removed from the Jaq emblem.

My personal favorite is #8. #5 is a very close second. I just don't like how they've cut all the points off the current Lincoln star. Just doesn't look right to me.

interesting that #2 seems to have reversed the colors of the shield's quarters from #1 & #3

*LOVE* the #4 ContiMkII's but have trouble with ANY modern vehicle carrying it off -- we talked about this a good while ago in the Mission -- maybe for a sports model with a VERY simple rear design?

#5 & #7 look awkward to me

imho the current #9 is a EUNUCH with its "bits" cut off

I like the idea of the greyhound for marketing, { Portfolio }, but
again doubt a near future vehicle could use it effectively
(plus there's COUPLE feline's I prefer that might be confused with it - tho neither is a "leaper")

for that earliest one - never saw it before - tho: no-imho, not 'graphic' enuf

That logo wouldn't work today since they aren't Leland built anymore and from everything I have read the Fords hated the Lelands and some reports even say they literally threw them out of the factory they built. Ford typically doesn't like mentioning Henry or Wilfred Leland in Lincoln's past anyway.
