Great work! Lincoln only needs to build it on the new RWD platform with a smaller front overhang and a longer dash-to-axle.

Don't be timid.:grin2:Move that front axle forward a few more inches (I wish I knew how to render). The constipated canine look must go!>:) With the vehicle so high, the hood could be sloped down a bit as well.

Nice job!

I'm a college student too, so I don't have time for the most perfect renderings. They're mainly meant for a general idea of design. I've done the best I could.

I tried to line up the doors a little bit more but I think this is as close as I can get.

I'm not trying to be a professional. It's just me being curious XD

You're way ahead of me on the rendering front. Keep it up!

I'm impressed with your photoshopping skills! I don't like tall sedans, at all.

My rendering got me thinking of a Navigator based Town Car. What do you think?
With a wheelbase stretch (forward) and longer hood for RWD proportions (Navi is RWD), this could work. A tall Lincoln sedan with a longer wheelbase should/will not look so stubby. A great starting point for new design ideas but I'd rather it was based on CD6.

I think it's nice and I think it's cool you made something like that, but no it's definitely not what it will look like. Just look at how much lower and longer the Continental and MKZ are than the new chop. The new chop is closer to the proportions of the MKS, which Lincoln is moving away from. Tall and chunky doesn't sell unless it's a CUV or SUV. Lincoln will not make tall and thick sedan. They'll get sexier. This is a guarantee I would seal in my own blood lol.

Tall doesn't have to mean chunky if it is looooong. A true halo sedan for Lincoln would have to be huge, although thankfully not as huge as the presidential Limo. Think Rolls Royce huge but with a killer design. It's very hard to make a SUV sexy; a CUV less so but not easy.

To be clear, there are elements of the Toyota Century design that I do not like but this is the flagship Continental that Lincoln should have built. At best, this is the type of flagship that CD6 was supposed to allow in the next-gen Conti. All the elements are there:

Size.

RWD proportions leading to road presence.

Almost CUV tall for entry comfort and command driving position.

Room inside for luxury interior features.

I know it won't happen but it's a bit depressing for this sedan dinosaur to see that other companies can do it.
