The Expdition , with a 4$ gas price is dead in actual form. It will disapear or will be a new version on the upcoming F-100 ??

imho the Expedition is in for a major change - becoming to a much lengthened T6-Bronco
but
the Navi would be based on the middle-sized F-100
...this is based on my idea that in the near future, if someone can afford that big of a suv - they can afford a Lincoln

Ford is probably better off killing them both. The market on these beasts are kinda real bad with gas prices being high and only getting higher.
I would say it would be bad if they killed them.
GM is just cutting production and taking them global, killing is just giving market share. Just like they did with minivans. Now Yotahondassan are just eating pie with hyundai feasting too

I dont want Ford kill this 2 trucks. But i think both will be downsized in the near future, maybe on the F-100 platform.

yeah, I wish that hiatus was enough to re-tool for the F-100 (+ newNavigator) ((not positive it isn't...))
it'd be fantastic to have both out This Fall
they could even incld the Expedition temporarily/until the T6 arrives
been thinking the F-100 could go 2 ways (...mostly - I hate either/or stuff)
make it look significantly smaller
Or make it look as close to F-150 size as possible (might indicate quicker re-tooling!)
either way the mpg needs to be up and weight down

I heard from a source at the glass house that DTP will be down from July Shutdown til Sept ..They will be retooling DTP so they can build Regular Cab trucks and build Expedition and Navs.....Once DTP is retooled to do this they will move Expy and Nav to DTP then Michigan Truck will go down to be retooled for the F-100..Once F-100 goes into production Michigan Truck will start back up with 2 shifts and if demand is there a 3rd crew will be put on..
DTP will start back up in Sept.building all versions of the F-150 and build the Expy and Nav...
